At the first look, what I think about this quote is freedom. Second, giving me a slightly different meaning that is comfortable. However, the deeply meaning of this quotation is something which you are familiar with will make you happy and enjoying. The same quote of Vietnamese is "Easy job is not come from an easy doing, it comes from doing something that you are really love."

In reality, that's so wonderful if you can find a job which make your life more enjoying, but there are just about 20% people in the world can find the such job like that, and the rest of them are so tired after a working day. A person who has that kind of job which anybody must dream about it is my nephew (I call him is nephew but actually he older than me 10 years). What is he doing day after day? Simply, he is a intermediate guy between a whole sale from Chinese and Ebayers. The only job he's doing is receive the order from many countries in the world and send it to the Chinese wholesale. What does he get? He get 20% from each order and he can earn more than $3000 per day with just one time sending the offer at the midnight. Surprise! yeah me too.

My dream is very simple that has the job like my nephew ^^.

Journal 15 : Vegas or not ?

Dear Mom and Dad,

I know what your are felling now, but you know what Vegas is not really dangerous like what you thought. It's true that Vegas is one of the most dangerous place in the world. However, I can say that no place in this world is safe, so the thinking of dangerous is just true in some special place in the city and 100% sure that I know where I will go and know which places in the city are safe for me.

Also, There is a very serious reason which make me turn others vacations plan to Las Vegas, that's my next essay. The essay's requirement is try to argue how a young people can be survived in Las Vegas without broken. Moreover, going to Las Vegas will help me to improve my controlling budget ability.

Hence, there is no doubt that there are no harm for such a good person like me to go to Las Vegas because I'm your son. Thanks for everything you did for me.

People are normally careless with their secret information such as credit card or other personal information. Hacker can create a fake web site with interface similar with the original one for example Yahoo or Microsoft. Thus, when people try to complete a transaction or checkout, at the very end of these step they will be very easy lost their information.

Research Topics - Internet

As my hobby is anything relate to computer and internet, I think my research topics will be something concert with these things. Internet nowadays is world wide, so billions people all over the world surf on it everyday. Thus, what happen then? Tons of service were born to serve people purposes, and as a result the communication becomes very necessary for people to increase benefit more and more efficient.

However, there are a lot of traps on the internet which are waiting for people. "Internet is never safe as it is", that is a common quote for anybody who has enough understanding about the internet. Fishing, scamming, spam, stolen personal information are very common, and you are very easy to become a victim unless you prepare for yourself enough skills to work safety on it.

My topic will be concentrated in the dangerous of the internet, and how to help people prepare enough skills to be safe on it.

American Food

There is no doubt if I say that almost American fast food is junk food, but hold a second, are there hamburger, pizza, or spaghetti American food? I don't think so. American fast foods have terrible effect to everybody who is wondering to eat them everyday because of pressure of working day. They're all less or almost nothing contain any nutrition, and very high calories. I'm not familiar with American fast foods and I'm not really like them in someways, but by the way eating fast food sometime is not too bad especially when you hang out with friends and time is not giving you many choices to choose another one.

However, some other traditional American foods are really delicious such as beef steak or BBQ. Also, in American culture, turkey is significant in thanksgiving holiday. I've never have experience with the thanksgiving dishes, but what I saw on movie it's very funny and look like a big celebration in American culture. Is that a real American dishes expensive? I don't know, but some of my friends told that, if you want to try a real one be prepare your pocket and don't be feel nervous when you are eating :D

Optimistic Quote

"Never give up when you still have chance" or "The chance is never give away, you must to find it". These are two slogan is famous in my culture and those relate to an optimistic person who always try to do something in any possible ways.

I used to a pessimist since I was young, I didn't why I always give up anything that made me hard. I remembered one time when I had an final exam in elementary school, the final question was so hard but it did have a solution if I try to thinking more deeply, but you know what? My brain feel exhausted and I decided to give up the question and never mind what will happen. However, I did a terrible thing that I never thought that was so serious. The test relate to another evaluation and I missed a big scholarship for that.

Since then, I try to become a optimistic person and never give up with anything that still has chance. Thus, sometimes that characteristic helped me a lot in solving many hard situations and ... how about you? remember that be optimistic even you think it has no chance!

Birds of a feather flock together

In our life, we can have a lot of friend, but only few of them is become our best friend. I had a lot of friends in my country and also in America, one of them is my best friend and he's now leaving in my country with his family. I called him is my best friend because he's the one whose I can count exactly what's differences between I and him; therefore, we are flexible to control our attitude to keep friendship better.

The most notable different between us is hobbies. He's a crazy gamer, and he can stay in the computer a whole day. In his thinking, computer game is not only for relaxation but also for earning money. He told me that he can ear over $4000 per month just for playing game online. However, I don't think so, he can earn a lot of money but the most losing is his healthy. When we go to school in the morning, I always see him in tired body and very easy to fall asleep. My opinion, game is good for relaxation and making friend, so I never waste too much time in it.

If hobbies is the most different between us, sport is one thing that we can find the similarity. Both of us love swimming and badminton. We can hang out a day for these activities, and that is a good way for us to keep connection or discuss something important in each person working.

Although we have both some similarities and differences, but the friendship still very good basing on knowing each other. Friend is a gift, and gift is valuable when we know how to use it well.

Hotel California - Eagles

That was the most famous song in the world I have heard. Since I was young, the song come with me in the first CD I bought. Immediately, I was attracted by its magical melody. At that time, my thinking about the U.S was very limited, and also the English skill was not good enough for me to understand the song, but the song became a bridge for me to try to explore more information about the U.S. Moreover, I tried to learn how to play guitar as well as the man performed, but there was no luck for me to do the such magical thing like that. Until now, my guitar skill is still horrible.

Fear Factor !!!

In my strong opinion, fear is something in your mind that make you become illness. Ghost is one of the best example that so many people in the world feel scare when they are alone. I used to scare about ghost when I was child, and that was the most strange experience which made me stronger when I grow up. I remembered that was a day when I studied late after midnight for final exam. The bread disappeared in front of me just a couple secs after I fell the pencil ..... OMG What really happened -> Ghost? I assumed that, so scare and I run away my room and couldn't sleep after that.

Late after, I recognized that the bread was stolen by my cat, but the fear about the ghost seem not easy to clear out of my head still I grow up.

Got Stuck in Rush Hour? Traffic !

"Don't go out after 4:00 pm" - That was first come out of my mind when I plan to go out after that terrible time. Although U.S is one of the best country in the world which had the most complex and flexible freeway construction, It does not mean the traffic problem be solved as good as it must be. Since I've still lived in my country, what I thought about the freeway system in the U.S is wonderful, but I was wrong. You can easy to get in stuck on the road in rush hour even just a small accident or something wrong far ahead. 2 or 3 hours on freeway to go home after work is normal with the American.

LA and Orange County are two obvious example for this problem, my first experience took me about 4 hours to go from LA to little Saigon, and then my body was completely exhausted. Where is solution for this terrible problem? The best way I can suggest you right now is avoid to go out at that time if you are not really need to do that or choose the local as the alternative solution. Overall, American road system is good and you can easy to travel from one state to another easy like a pie. Oppsss ! I forgot to mention other alternative solutions, Bicycle and bus are also very good here if you plan to do exercise or save gas ^^

What would you "uninvent?"

Since I became familiar with preparing laptop for my friend, sometimes it drives me crazy with a bunch of errors and some of them really hard to fix. Also, the more i know about the laptop, the more technology i need to update daily. I remembered the last time when I try to fix my close friend's laptop, the error was really bad and it took me about 4 hours to finger out how to do and all my other work can't be finished because of time. I didn't have enough time for doing homework, cooking and laundry. Soon, I realize the inconvenience of knowledge to much in information technology will make me can't concentrate in other works, so I just wonder as everybody who only know how to use the computer and don't care about how to fix it.

Although I love computer, but if I have a right to decide that do the world need its invention? I will decide NO because all of troubles it brought to me ^^

Physical Appearance

Everybody in the world has not perfect in physical appearance and the defect is unavoidable. My eyes weren’t so good since I was 12, but at that time I haven’t though that will make me feel uncomfortable. One day, when I’m driving on freeway, suddenly the reflection of sun shines directly shines to my face and I can’t see anything. If I could use the sunglasses, the problem couldn’t happen. Moreover, in daily life, the weakness of my eyes also makes me uncomfortable when I try to do something that highly requires exactness.

My Dream Job

It's hard to decide a job today especially in economic crisis. Moreover, when I think about my dream job in future, I always think about 2 options: one to become a high tech engineering and another one is become a successful business man. That's kind of so confusing because the contradiction between 2 jobs (2 completely different majors).

After I finished my major about information technology in my country, I decided to become a good programmer. However, sitting in front of the computer all time of day is completely exhausted, so my dream job at that time is to become a person like someone who is working in Google Inc (very exciting and relaxing). In two recent years, I’ve been thinking about my dream job again because I want to combine what I knew about information technology with business. Thus, my dream job now is to become a successful business man in information technology ^^.

Qualities of a Good Leader

A good leader is the person who is known by everyone in his country not only by what he did, but also by how his achievement bring to the people in his country. Reducing jobless, increasing benefit, and making country more powerful in international are some of qualities must have of a good leader. However, a good leader must respect all people and be respected by all people.

Ho Chi Minh (as we call by another name: Nguyễn Ái Quốc) is one of the most leader who I very admire by what he did for my country. Vietnam's just a little country in south east Asia, but we got 1000 years rule by China, 100 years rule by France, and spent to 2 big wars with France and America. Thus, what happened if we didn't have a good leader like Ho Chi Minh? that was a big question not only for me, but also for everybody who live in my country. Moreover, his idea about a peace world made him become one of the most famous leader in the world. It's not too hard to find some stuff talk about Ho Chi Minh's live, and some of them is recognized best seller in the world.

The Strangest Food You Have Ever Eaten !

Every countries in the world own the strangest food that will make you never think what will happen if you want to try it. I remembered some of them when I've first seen them on one of the most famous game show "Fear Factor" which is very successful commercial show of NBC. That was so strange when the player must to finish their dishes with something like: cockroach, worms, or scorpion. OMG!!! "How can they try to make the game show like that?" I was screaming out loud immediately. So crazy, so ugly, so soooo ...... nothing to say :| Strange.

In the next few nights after the show, The stranger still prepossess in my mind. Actually, I can't eat well after that. Without the amount of money that the players can win, I will never think they can have enough confident to finish that kind of weird job.

However, if the prize for the winner is millions $$$, I will refuse what I just wrote before :| LOL :D That's true :P

The First Impression

Everybody has the first impression when he or she go to another place for a new life, especially international student who is first come here, California. When I was young, I heard a about Cali from my cousins who have lived here for long time. Cali is as known as the most activity state of the U.S, so it's not so hard to find the things that will make me surprise at the first look. for instance, the mixing of multicultural is the big different from my country. The transportation system is one of the most impression with me, from the freeway system to the public transportation every of them are operated very reasonable. What will happen if it has an serious accident on the freeway cause of high speed? that was my big question still I found out the way that polices try to solve that kind of problem, every impression.

Law in Cali is also made me surprise, it's so strange. For example, drinking alcohol when you are driving is equal with you will get the big trouble. That's thing is not too serious in my country, may be because of rule, but in general, it help a lot in control and limit number of accident. Another one is some kind of actions which was made me really impression. For example, when you want to buy or pay something, you need to get in line and if you want to interrupt someone for helping, you need to say "Excuse me!" first. That's really good way for people giving a good contact with each other.

In conclusion, the impressions day by day make me more interesting in living here, and they're really good experience for all international students improve themselves.

Hi, my name is Quang, and you can call me Nick. I have studied in alp of CSUF for 2 semesters and now I'm try to working hard to meet the requirement of the Master program. The reason why I would like to take part in Alp for a long time that was because the method in education is really make me feel in highly processing. All of the professors here are very reasonable in teaching and creativity in trying to help student catch up what they need to have.

Let's me talk something about my family, I was born in SaiGon which is the biggest city of Vietnam, and my city is so noisy but very activity. There are six people in my family--My mother,father,older brother, 2 younger sisters, and me. In my country, when people have free time, they usually hang out with their friend to go to coffee shop, or shopping somewhere. Those are also my hobbies ^^ so seem not too hard for you to meet me if you come to my country and go some where for coffee :D just kidding >.<

Surfing in the internet has a lot of significant with me because my work when I was in VN is control the copyright of music which are shared a lot in the internet. For the future, I want to study about the business to combine my knowledge which I studied in VN.
